Golden Birthday

This past weekend I celebrated my "Golden" birthday! I turned 26 on the 26th of January! The whole weekend consisted of birthday celebrations! Friday night we went out to eat with some friends at Olive Garden. The only picture I took was of Paige's precious boy, Parker! I can't even handle how cute he is!!

 

On my actual birthday my sweet hubby cooked me a delicious breakfast and then went shopping with me all day! He asked what I wanted to do so I decided I wanted to go register for the baby at Buy Buy Baby! Even though it was overwhelming, we had a great time looking at all the baby items! After that we headed over to the mall for some shopping for ourselves!:)

Saturday night we went out to Liberty with my family. This has been a tradition for as long as I can remember. We always have such a good time when we get together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday we headed to Graniteville for birthday celebration #3 at my Dad's. What a nice surprise to walk in and find the table decorated!:)

Full Baby Mode

After finding out that we are having a girl I have been in full baby mode and I am afraid it won't stop until she gets here!:) This past weekend Gray was out of town for work so my mom and I did a lot of shopping for Baby E. We started out at Buy Buy Baby, then Motherhood Maternity and finished up at Once Upon a Child. It was my first time at all three of these places and it was slightly overwhelming!! My friend Paige, her precious boy Parker and her mom joined us for our day of shopping! It was so much fun! I LOVED shopping for a girl and so did everyone else! This baby girl is already on her way to being spoiled!!!:)

 

Here I am at 20 weeks which was last week. I am now 21 weeks and growing!! I have really started to feel her kick and it is one of the most amazing feelings ever!!

It's a...

GIRL!!! 

Yesterday Gray and I had our 20 week appointment where we got to find out the gender. Luckily our little one cooperated from the beginning and we found out right away that we were having a girl! It is still so hard to believe that it is a girl! Going into the appointment I just knew it was going to be a boy, but I was wrong!! Either way we would have been happy, but we are SUPER excited to know now that we are having a girl!

Gray and I had planned a gender reveal party for our families. Everyone wanted us to wait to find out too, but we knew we wouldn't have been able to wait all day!!! After our appointment I called Publix to confirm the gender so they could finish the cake. We had our parents, grandparents and siblings over for some dinner, fun and a cake reveal. We really had such a great time and I think our families enjoyed it too! I know the suspense was killing them (as well as making our sweet friends wait until that night too). :)

18 Weeks

I haven't been very good about taking weekly pictures to see the growth of my baby bump. I have a couple, but I decided to share one at 18 weeks. I took this today before watching that awesome Carolina bowl game!!! I have been feeling great throughout the second trimester. Looking forward to finding out the gender in TWO weeks!!
