What has Evie been up to?

Finally posting some pictures from the past two months...

Back in February we went to Parker's 2nd birthday party. It is so hard to believe he is already 2 years old!! We had a good time at his party and enjoyed seeing our sweet friends!

We finally got to meet Blakely!:)

A couple of weeks ago our friends Christine and Jimmy came into town and we FINALLY got to see them. I had strep throat, but was not letting that stand in my way...it had been forever since we last saw them!! Their little boy JB has grown so much and I am so glad we got to spend a little bit of time with them. I hate that they don't live closer so Evie and JB could play more, but we try to see them as much as possible! Paige, Parker and Mackenzie were there too so all the babies got to play!

Evie and Croft at Mills' 2nd birthday party. Croft was very excited to see his "baby Evie" as he calls her. He had a card and bracelet that he had made for her! He seriously is so sweet!

We took Evie to her first Carolina baseball game. She enjoyed being out there for a little bit, but she was definitely ready for a nap after being out in the sun for a while!

9 Months Old

Here we are again...another monthly blog post. Evie is now 9 months old!! She is absolutely the sweetest little baby and I thank God daily for such an amazing gift! Gray and I are so incredibly blessed!!! We had her nine month well check and everything was great which is so nice to hear! She weighs 19 lbs. and is 28 & 3/4 inches long! She is still wearing 9 month clothes and size 2 diapers. She is growing constantly length wise so it won't be long before she grows out of these 9 month pants.
Evie still gives us trouble when we feed her vegetables. She LOVES fruit so we try to switch up each bite with a vegetable and a fruit. That is about the only way we can get her to eat her veggies. She has recently tried pancakes, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and bread. We give her puffs and yogurt melts for a snack. Evie still has four bottles a day and every time she sees us making the bottle she gets so excited! She doesn't always finish them, but she does love that bottle!
We are officially in the process of baby proofing the house. Evie is into EVERYTHING at this point! She has been army crawling for a while, but just starting crawling on her knees. I couldn't believe it when she first got on her knees. Luckily Gray and I were both in the room with her when she did it. She doesn't always use her knees...I think sometimes she forgets or either it's easier for her to just crawl on her stomach. Either way she can move FAST! She loves crawling to her toy box and taking all the toys out and putting them back in. I can't even handle how cute it is when she does this!
Evie is always talking and laughing. She is such a happy baby and hardly ever cries. She will smile at just about anyone! I have a feeling she is going to be very social like many of her grandparents! :) She has been saying da-da a lot and FINALLY said ma-ma. My heart melted into a thousand pieces when I first heard this. She just recently starting saying ga-ga too.
Here are a few nine month pictures I could get before she moved on to something else!;)

I still had to try and take my chalkboard pictures, but those are not so easy anymore. This may be the last time I use it. :) These were the best I could get!
