Harrison is ONE

It's still hard to believe that my little baby boy is now a one year old. I have had a hard time coming to terms with it. This is a fun age though and I just love watching him grow and learn new things.
Harrison turned one on February 25th. He weighs 24 pounds and is 30 inches long. He is a short, chunky monkey! He is officially on all whole milk now. He loves almost all fruits, green beans, bread, yogurt, and cheerios. He is a picky eater, but when he finds something he likes he eats A LOT of it!
He is an OK sleeper. He will usually go on a stretch of good sleep for about a week and then he will wake up a few nights in a row. I honestly think he misses us because he is completely fine when we are rocking him or letting him lay in our bed with us. I try to take in those moments even if they are at 2 o'clock in the morning and I have to be up at 5 o'clock. He will only be this little once!
Harrison started daycare about a month ago and the transition has not been easy for him (or us).  He of course has been sick pretty much since he started. I was hoping since he was a little older and has been around Evie who is in daycare it would't have been so bad...well not so much. Hopefully now that the weather is getting warmer it will be better.
I know I say this all the time, but he seriously is the sweetest boy. He loves being held and being loved on. He gives the sweetest "hugs" and "kisses". He will run to you and just dive into your arms when you are on the floor. He just melts my heart over and over again.

For Harrison's first birthday we decided to have a baseball themed party.  I was inspired by a door hanger that my dad gave Harrison before he was born. We had it hanging on his hospital door when he was born! It was such an easy party to plan. We had nachos, boiled peanuts, popcorn, cracker jacks, candy, and cupcakes! Unfortunately Harrison did have an ear infection so he wasn't his normal happy self at his party. He did okay for the most part. By the end he was ready for a nap though!
The Royal Cookie Company never disappoints. Her cookies are AMAZING! We had gloves, baseballs,1s, and bats.
I always enjoy making my own chalkboard.
I love the way the banner turned out. A sweet friend at work helped make the cut outs and they looked great!

Harrison was not feeling his birthday hat at first. Eventually he didn't mind wearing it, but this picture was just too funny!
The one time she sat still long enough to snap a picture!
I love watching these 3 grow up together! They are the sweetest!

Shelley and I have been friends since 5th grade. I hope that our boys will be friends forever too! Love going through motherhood with this girl!
Little Levi is the cutest!!!

My dad loves to buy these funny gifts for his grand babies. I love when he does things like this.  :)

Since we had already done a cake smash we decided to just do a cupcake
at his party. It was the best decision because the clean up was super easy!

Ohhhh Evie...not wanting to smile!

We tried hard to get a family photo with all 4 of us...this was the best we could get. Harrison just wasn't up for many pictures.
My ONE year old.

My precious, sweet baby boy. Words can't even express how much I love you.  You light up my life daily and just make my heart so happy. You have been such an amazing blessing that I thank God for daily. I love you to the moon and back!
